This 36-inch wall-mounted canopy hood features a design that complements today's commercial-style cooking surfaces. The ventilation hood accepts either a 600 or 1200 CFM motor (not included) to give you the power you need for virtually any cooking surface. I bought this hood range. It arrived missing parts. It’s beem over 2 weeks and I still don’t have the parts. I have spoken to 4 supervisors and I can tell you that the company doesn’t care if you are happy once you have bought their products. They will not provide any reasonable customer service and only keep apologizing. The next time you call they start all over again apologizing but still nothing happens. I’ve purchased over $20,000 in Kitchenaid appliances and if they were not already installed I would return every one of them because when something goes wrong in the future, I expect the customer service to be as inept as it was in the past. Don’t waste your time and money on this company. If I could give a negative star rating I would, but the lowest is 1.

Broken switch

Used just a year, everything is great until, just like everyone else, the switch broken at the plastic part. Kichenaid, come on, so many complains about the part, should you do something to improve?

Broken switch bezel

Great looking hood that besides the switch bezel with a poor design works well. Once the screws break the plastic it screws into you cannot apply pressure to the switch to operate it. It appears numerous persons have had the same problem and repeatedly buying $70 part for an expensive piece of equipment is certainly a turn off.

Bought this hood, works great but having the same issue as mentioned below the housing unit where the contro panel is cracked and is now loose, and the repair is over $200 for parts, labor, and materials
