Have only had this model for about a month but have used the steamer, convection, regular microwave and popcorn and grill. All those except the convection worked reasonably well. I felt that the convection was slow but I have to use it more to really know how well it works. My BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT is the ventilation system. I purposely looked for a good hood fan and I am very disappointed in this one. First of all, it barely has any power even at its highest speed. With pots on the front burners the front of the microwave get all steamed up and drip. With pots on the back burner it is somewhat better but the tile backsplash still got "drippy" with moisture running down the tile. This replaced a Kenmore Elite which had a wonderful and powerful venting system. Then, as has been mentioned so many times before, it is ridiculous to have to stand there and press "off" six times to stop the fan. It just doesn't make sense. I cook a lot and really don't like lingering cooking odors in the house. This was an expensive machine and I am sorry that I will have to be using it for the next several years. If I could have returned it, I would. Kitchen Aid has had a very favorable reputation in general with its products so it is too bad to have to write a disappointing report. Below you are asking if I would recommend this product. No, not if the purchaser was looking for an over the range microwave with good ventilation power.

Can not find a COMPLETE USER MANUAL ONLINE

I feel you are hiding something when you only provide access to an 8 page Use and Care Manual and most of that is safety warnings. Or is the only programming pushing one button on the front of the screen and you can’t change settings within that option, from your manual that is what appears to be the case.

Microwave was received as a replacement for a Kenmore Elite that blew the magnetron for second time. It works better than expected and has a little more power than the old one. Its very quiet. Would like to have access to change the sounds and the sound volume that notifies when the food has been cooked. Its taking a little longer trying to get use to the much larger door as our old microwave had a stationary panel on right side which allowed the door to be smaller. I'm short and trying to get out of the way of the much larger door when opening, closing, it sometimes knocks my glasses off. So far we only used it for cooking quick items, reheating food, frozen vegetables and popcorn. Will be trying out the convection and browning capabilities in next week or so.

It makes no noise, the design is beautiful, and the accessories that come with it are great.
