Unreliable: sump pump failed twice in 30 months

Sump pump failed the first time 14 months after I bough the machine. Whirlpool was considerate enough to replace it since the warranty was barely expired. However, 18 months after that the pump failed again. Called Whirlpool, since this is an ongoing, recurrent problem. They couldn't care less, like a broken record I heard that they couldn't help since I hadn't bought an extended warranty... I wish they cared more about making reliable products which would exceptionally need an extended warranty, but not as frequently. Will never buy Whirlpool again.

J’ai acheté cette article il y a peine trois et le moteur principal est brûlé. Le technicien vient de quitter et il me dit qu’il ne vaut pas la peine de le réparer étant donné le prix de la pièce. J’ai toujours fait confiance à whirpool et influa mais là c’est terminé. 900$ plus taxes dans les poubelles

I could really just re-type the same 1 star reviews that have been given here. I bought this machine about a year and a half ago, only to have the pump break down on me last week. I, as many others did not purchase the extended warranty, in hopes that I could at least get a good 5 years without issues. Here we are however a year and a half later, with possibly having to pay a good out of pocket cost to have a machine with a failing pump replaced, as I will not invest any further in your products, I have lost complete faith in them. I have also attempted to email Whirlpool directly through the email address that has been given to other consumers in these reviews, to no avail. I'm hugely disappointed.

This dishwasher was bought in August of 2016, it caved last week on us. Had a repair guy come out. Three errors came up when tested: Pump, motor and sensor panel. We can't fix this for less then getting a new one. This lasted two years, to me that's a piece of junk! I thought Whirlpool was a good name, I am thinking not after how many bad reviews this dishwasher has received. Won't buy Whirlpool again!
