Doesnt Hold Up

Bought this 18 months ago. Lint filter broke I had an error code of te1 which said it was the thermistor. Well I tested the Thermistor and it was fine found the thermostat was not functioning. Replaced that started to spin and then got the same error code. Wound up replacing the circuit board. So since I fixed the machine myself I saved on the absorbent rates you would pay to have someone diagnose replace the parts. The parts wound up costing me $250. If you had to pay someone to do that it wouldve cost more to do the job than I paid for the dryer. And LG is very strict with there silly one year warranty they wont even give you discounts on the parts. They also have no tech support. Seems like only warrantying a circuit board for one year is ridiculous because this seems to be a common problem their error codes are meaningless because the error code I got had nothing to do with the Thermistor.

This dryer is great but had to replace the motherboard and thermistor after 2 years.

THE ONLY PROBLEM: WHEN THE LETTERS SHOWED UP CLAND COULD NOT GET IT TO START. WHAT A TIME TO FIGURE THAT OUT. OTHER THEN THAT. IT IS A GREAT MACHINE AND YOUR INTERNET QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WERE GREAT HELP.

Poor Quality

Have paint on the rim peeling and dryer from the first day does notary clothes completely on first cycle. Poor quality product and LG will not stand up to the fact that they have an issue with the peeling paint.

Ben Broken for over a month. LG cant find anyone to fix it on warranty.
