Filter-Ready

provides a dedicated space where a filter can be inserted to help remove contaminants, improving taste and clarity. A filter is not required but can be purchased separately. Use filter #F2WC9I1 and change every six months for best results.

I have 2 of these, in two different homes, one of them has already failed and now repairs and parts is around 1K USD, it probably has less than 2 years. The second unit (7 mo, old) started making some noises. In general they look good but they are not really reliable.
